Our Heart
We don't want to confuse simply attending church with truly following Jesus. God calls us to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and we believe wholehearted devotion to Jesus should be the normal life of every believer. While gathering on Sundays is a gift, the heartbeat of our church extends far beyond a building and into the everyday lives of God's people. If you're curious about following Jesus or looking for a community devoted to Him, we would love for you to join us.
Your First Visit
What to Expect
We gather every Sunday and serve free coffee and donuts beforehand.
No matter your spiritual background, you are welcome here. Whether you're skeptical, exploring faith, or coming from another religious tradition, we invite you to check us out. Our hope is that each gathering becomes a place to encounter God and genuinely connect with others — knowing God and being known by Him, and knowing and being known by others.
Come comfortable! You'll see everything from jeans and t-shirts to business casual. Come as you are, whether casually or dressed to honor God and His people. We care more about your heart than your wardrobe.
We have two Sunday morning services at 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM. Both services are identical, so choose whichever time works best for you. Plan to arrive about 10-15 minutes early to find parking, grab a donut or coffee, be welcomed, and get settled.
The Experience
Our Gatherings
Our gatherings are typically about 80 minutes and involve:
Music
Our church loves to sing. We joyfully engage in a vibrant contemporary time of musical worship during each Sunday gathering, because Jesus is worthy of our praise!
Vision and Values
During our gathering, we take time to share our vision and invite people into ways to connect and grow within our church community.
Praying
Prayer is an important part of our gathering. Throughout the service, we pause to thank God for who He is, bring our needs before Him, and ask Him to move in our lives and in the world.
Scripture Reading
We love the Bible, so we'll stand to read the passage that we're studying.
Preaching
We'll preach the unchanging truth of Scripture and seek to apply the good news of Jesus to the core concerns of our lives.
Communion
We'll celebrate the Lord's Supper as a reminder of Jesus' death as a sacrifice for sins and the call to follow Him in sacrificial living.
Response
After the message and communion, we create space for our church family to briefly share how God spoke to them, encouraged them, or challenged them throughout the gathering so the whole body can be encouraged.
Giving
We'll give as a response to God's grace to extend the church's ministry to our community and world. A giving box is in the lobby next to the door, or you can give online.
For Families
Citylight Kids
We have a safe, fun, and educational environment for your kids.
Kids Are Welcome
We have a safe, fun, and educational environment (at both gatherings) for kids from 6 months to age 9, or you are free to have your children with you in the worship gathering.
All of our children's workers have undergone background checks and been trained before volunteering.
